Profile Systems Design Group, Inc. TransActPOS Payment Application Validated PA DSS Compliant by Trustwave
Madisonville, KY and Chicago (November 10, 2009) – Profile Systems Design Group, Inc., an independent Point of Sale (POS) software developer, has achieved compliance validation with the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA DSS) version 1.2 for its TransActPOS version 3.0 payment application. PA DSS applies to software vendors who develop payment applications that store, process, or transmit cardholder data as a part of payment card authorization or settlement. The annual security review consists of 14 requirements including protection of card holder data, secure passwords, protection of wireless transmissions, encryption of sensitive traffic over public networks and more.
TransActPOS is a Point of Sale solution for retail, home, hardware and lumber stores. TransActPOS can also be used at gift shops, garden centers and power equipment sales and service centers.
