The Gift Registry module manages customer wish lists for special events.

Using the Gift Registry module could not be easier. Customers can scan their desired items using a handheld unit and then return the device to a sales clerk. The clerk records the customer’s general information and downloads the product information. When someone wishes to purchase a gift off a registry list, the list and purchase activity can be printed for review.

At the end of the process, the gift receiver can get a reconciled account of gift-givers and items so they can write thank-you notes.
